ELLEN MEADD
Resource Development Officer

Ellen implements Horizons’ fundraising program and contributes to the organization’s communications strategies. She has extensive experience in project management, grant-writing and community engagement, having worked in the non-profit and university sectors. Ellen holds both a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Geography and master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D in Environmental Studies from York University. After working across northern Ontario and Saskatchewan with municipalities and Indigenous communities, Ellen is happy to be back to work in Northumberland County.
